Echo Lake
Echo Lake is one of ten TRT trailheads, and the entrance of Desolation Wilderness.

Lake Aloha
This is a biggest lake in the Desolation Wilderness. Early morning at Lake Aloha was quiet and it looked like a mirror.

Heather Lake
A small lake next to the Lake Aloha. We took many pictures as the reflective mountain at the lake was pretty.

Susie Lake
Susie Lake is one of the charming lakes, surrounded by the snow mountains and trees.

Half Moon Lake
The shape seems like Half Moon. You can see the bottom of the lake from the trail as the water is so clear.

Dicks Pass 9,383 ft
Beautiful Pass in the Desolation Wilderness, many flowers in the pass and the view are wonderful.

Dicks Lake
Look down the Dicks Lake from the top of Dicks Pass. Upper left is Fontanillis Lake, and the right is Velma Lakes.

Fontanillis Lake
Next ten miles before Richardson Lake are no water. So, we got a lot of water here.

Barker Pass 7,647 ft
This is a wide and open trail where you can see the Lake Tahoe very often.

Gray Lake
Plentiful spring water is here. This is a very good oasis in the north part of Tahoe.

Near Relay Peak

Relay Peak is the highest point in the Tahoe Rim Trail.

Tahoe Meadows
This is a beautiful and biggest meadow in Tahoe Rim Trail. Many people were enjoying the short hike and picnic.

Center of the peninsula is state line of California and Nevada.

Marlette Lake; North

Marlette Lake; South
Marlette Lake is biggest Lake in east side of Tahoe Rim Trail. It is 1,400 ft higher than Lake Tahoe.

Spooner Summit
The area between Marlette Lake and Spooner Summit is the State Park of Nevada. Around here are many good places to see the nice scenery.

South Camp Peak
8,865 ft
Here is a good place you enjoy the grand view of Lake Tahoe. Late afternoon was very cold as the strong wind blows from the lake.

South Lake Tahoe
South Lake Tahoe is the biggest resort in Lake Tahoe. Many hotels and restaurants stand along the shore.

Round Lake
Only 3 miles from the trailhead. Therefore, people enjoy the fishing and camping at the lake easily.
